PSTV ROCKS!!!! (but...)
4 Stars
PSTV ROCKS!!!! (but...)
Okay, contrary to popular belief this is an awesome device. Just like my beloved Vita, as I am an avid vita player. However, there are a few caveats in order to [almost] fully enjoy virtually the entire vita game library on your pstv. 1) the best controller to use is the dual shock 4 version two [currently sold separately]. 2) you should "soft-mod" the pstv with the program called "psvimgtools ", just Google it and follow the instructions, this mod will allow you to play virtually all Vita games no problem. No need for [stupid] henkaku. This is a one time easy mod better suited for the pstv. You can play incompatible games like Uncharted golden abyss and wipeout 2048 etc on pstv with this mod. Those games work great. There's a few work-arounds needed for uncharted tho [YouTube it]. Those games aren't whitelisted. 3) the mCable is a must have for the PSTV in order to get the best picture quality out of vita games. It upscales to 1080p hd! 4) the Titan One device is also a must have for the PSTV. It allows you to use nearly any controller keyboard and mouse. Plus you can remap buttons with the device eventho the pstv has that capability. 5) the "pstv stand" is a must. It sits your pstv upright and makes look like a REAL sexy mini console!! Down fall; PSTV doesn't support motion control or have a camera port for the ps3/4 cameras for when u remote play or if want to play certain vita titles on pstv. THIS SYSTEM IS HALF BAKED and that's why I won't give it 5 but a whole 4 stars max! I highly recommend this device for my fellow vita players out there in yhe world. Prices are going up because its a niche system like the ps vita whixh no one knows about! Both are HIDDEN GEMS!
